Civil Engineering Surveys
The Faro Focus 350 is the market leaving tool for site surveys. The latest software is 3 times faster and now 15% more accurate. Range is 350m in any direction.
Using Faro Scene, Autodesk, Revit BIM software we can rapidly convert site survey scan data into accurate 3D CAD BIM models.
Typical Civil works includes, cast concrete, balustrades, buildings, houses, Amazon pre fab buildings, factories, bridges, tunnels, steel beams, concrete structures, bridges, architectural structures, artefacts, heavy engineering.
BMS specialise in converting 3D laser scan data into 3D CAD models.
3D scanning data capture is relatively easy however converting 3D scan data (point cloud data) into usable CAD data is no so easy.
We specialise in converting scan data into parametric 3D CAD models.
We can output virtually any file format including native SolidWorks (retaining the full design tree), Catia, Revit, Step, Iges, dwg.
For example, we provide pipeline maintenance and repair contractors with overnight emergency scan data processing services. Engineers scan pipeline parts and or areas in field with their own Laser Hand Held Scanners then send their scan data (as .stl files) directly to us for processing in to clean parametric CAD models.
